Mr Harry Dube is the Executive Director and founder of Power AgroSolutions (Pty) Ltd. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Agriculture from The University of New England, Australia and a Batchelor of Science (BSc) degree in agriculture form The University of New England. In both degrees he majored and specialised in Soil Science, Agronomy and Soil Contamination and Remediation. He has eight years’ experience working as an agricultural scientist for The Limpopo Department of Agriculture between 2008 and 2009 where some of his responsibilities were soil sampling and fertilizer recommendation, training extension officers on matters of soil fertility, irrigation scheduling and water management, soil survey for selected governmental projects, inter-governmental and stakeholder relations, estimating annual crop output, developing crop plans and advising farmers on crop related issues. Mr Dube has extensive experience in fertilizer regulations having worked for The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development as a technical advisor for fertilizers. In this role some of his duties were Scientific evaluation of applications for registration, development of guidelines and legislation, training of junior staff and promotion of compliance in fertilizer in South Africa.
